MR. KWAME RUGUNDA
Kwame is the Chief Executive at Savannah, a company unlocking Africa’s digital economy, through technology solutions and providing advisory services. As Chief Executive, Kwame presides over both the strategic aspirations
and operational implementation at Savannah. He sits on Uganda’s National Taskforce on the 4th Industrial Revolution and is a member of the World Economic Forums’ Global Future Council on Cryptocurrencies.
An Electrical Engineer and Mathematician by training, Kwame has over 15 years of experience in business, consulting and project implementation working with governments, the private sector and non-profit organizations globally. He holds an MBA and is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and was a 2017 recipient of the top award for academic excellence and impact on the Harvard University community.
